Jumpstart Weekend Washington Recap

Jumpstart Weekend in Tukwila, Washington closed out 45Camp’s two workshop events on a high note. Held at Tabor 100’s Business Development Center the weekend after Jumpstart Oregon, attendees came together over three days to share their ideas, team up to collaborate, and pitch before a panel of judges. Teams Kika Flowers, Ocasio Design, ClimateX, Evalv, Pine Home, Sheba, and Redyoos showed up to work on their business models, conduct customer research, signed up for sessions with experienced mentors Angie Parker, Darryl Dexter, Mary Phillips, and Chris Ponce to get feedback and advice.

The team worked hard on their final decks before pitching their concept in front of an audience and judges Paula Sardinas and Aina Abiodun showcasing everything that they learned throughout the weekend. After deliberation from the judges, Evalv, Pine Home, and Sheba took home first, second, and third place, respectively.

The 45Camp Pre Accelerator and Accelerator programs are now accepting applications from entrepreneurs based in Washington and Oregon! Participants will have a chance to access grant funding to further their product concept.
