Eligibility Requirements
Eligible companies for the VertueLab Climate Impact Fund must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Must be located in The United States or Canada
Must have a proprietary technology that can make a significant impact on the climate crisis once it reaches full commercial scale
Must have a business plan and team with the potential for the commercial success that will lead to scale up
Must be at a stage of development where it will be unlikely that the company can raise all needed capital from conventional investors
Must have an entrepreneurial support system appropriate for the company’s current stage
Must demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in building the company
Expectations
If the fund makes an investment, companies should expect to:
Have an ongoing engagement with VertueLab
Provide periodic reporting of business and impact metrics
Participate in VertueLab events and public relations initiatives
