Sarah Cleveland is a resource for organizations addressing sustainability in the investment process. She has been an independent investment consultant since 2011, working on research, strategy and education projects. Previously Cleveland advised institutional investors on investment strategy, implementation, and ongoing monitoring. As senior consultant with Towers Watson Investment Services as well as Rogerscasey, Cleveland consulted with a broad spectrum of asset owners. For more than 25 years, she has been involved in economic research and financial services, and active in the sustainable investment field since 2003.
Currently, Cleveland serves as board member and chair of the Investment and Audit Committee at the Russell Family Foundation, as board member of the Northwest Earth Institute, as advisory board member of the Journal of Environmental Investing, and as member of the Global Advisory Council at Cornerstone Capital. Sarah Cleveland Consulting became a signatory to the PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment) in 2014.
